Key person
Our Pre-school Manager has overall responsibility for the welfare of the children and the day-to-day running of Humpty Dumpty. Your child will be allocated a key person before their first session. This member of staff is your first point of call should you wish to share information with us regarding the welfare of your child. They will liaise with you on a regular basis to keep you informed of your child’s progress and it is this person who will speak to you formally at parent consultations. If your child's key-person is unavailable, we have a key-buddy system, each key-person is linked with another staff member to provide a "buddy" key person.

Assessment
We continually monitor the progress of our children. We record our observations and your child’s achievements in a development profile. This record is shared with your child’s next school and sometimes with other external agencies. You can  see your child’s development profile at any time.  Parents are encouraged to play an active role in their child’s progress and there is a "WOW" board in pre-school for parents to add  their own observations of their child at home.
