Humpty Dumpty Pre-school newsletter.
Welcome to our new children and families, we hope you are settling in well! If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to speak with your child’s keyperson or the manager.
Thank you for your co-operation in closing the gate behind yourself, please continue to do this as it keeps the children safe.
Do you know you can book extra sessions at pre-school? These can be permanent, one off and short notice. Just check with Laura or Sophie who can let you know availability.
Please have a look at your child’s key folder, they can be viewed at any time and have lots of information and observations in them, please also talk to your keyperson to book your child’s 2 year check if this hasn’t already been done.
Late collections are on the increase! Please be aware that there is a late collection charge, this is £5 for every 5 minutes you are late collecting your child. Please ensure your child is collected on time where possible!
We are currently without a cleaner so staff are having to clean after sessions, please ensure once you have collected your child, you leave the main building as soon as possible to enable staff to get the cleaning done safely without children in the room. Staff have their own children to collect from school so time is precious! Thankyou in advance for your co-operation.
Lunch boxes- Please ensure your child has a healthy balanced packed lunch in a clean lunch box/bag, please include a drink and some form of fruit. If you provide grapes, please ensure they are cut in half to prevent a choking hazard. We are taking part in a healthy eating programme provided by Sylvia Low (Dental hygienist) and will be talking in pre-school about different foods and drinks.
If your child is unwell or not attending pre-school, please can you ring in after 8.30 am so we can adjust staffing accordingly, thank you. Also if you are planning a holiday, please fill in a holiday form so we are aware.
Fundraising has been great this past term and we have raised lots of money for pre-school, thankyou for your continued support. Messy play sessions are the first Friday in every month, next session this Friday 6th May. We also have a “POT LUCK” stall at Oakington school this Saturday 2-4.30, please come along and support us!
