Governing Bodies

Humpty Dumpty Pre-school is supported by a number of key agencies and organisations, all of whom help to ensure that the setting’s effectiveness is enhanced.

Ofsted:
Ofsted inspects and regulates care for children and young people and inspects education and training for learners of all ages. Ofsted does not report to government ministers but directly to Parliament.

​Early Years and Childcare Service:
The Early Years and Childcare Service is a local authority team, responsible for developing childcare places across Buckinghamshire and for supporting childcare providers.Through this service a wide range of support and advice can be readily accessible including:
* grants and financial support
* business management training and support
* Ofsted registration
* workforce training and development,
* playwork
* Early Education Funding

Pre-school Learning Alliance (PLA):
The Pre-school Learning Alliance is a leading educational charity specialising in the early years. It provides practical support to over 15,000 Early Years settings and contributes to the care and education of over 800,000 young children and their families each year.
Humpty Dumpty Pre-school is a member of the PLA. Our insurance is obtained via the PLA.
